Kira: 18 months

Kira had her 18 month check up this week! Overall she's doing really well, besides the nagging ear problems. She was 26lbs 14 oz. (82 percentile) and 34.75 inches tall (94 percentile).

Some quick facts about Kira:
- our nickname for her is "hungry hippo" because she loves to eat! Her favorite foods are blueberries and noodles. Although she eats a lot, she's quite picky about fruits.
- officially went to 1 nap a day about a month ago
- wears 2T clothes, 5 1/2 shoe, and size 4 diapers
- favorite activity - giving hugs to mom :) she's quite the momma's girl
- loves babies and playing tractors with Mason
- always wants to be doing what big brother Mason is doing
- Says and repeats lots of new words every day, her favorite words are "puppy" and "more". She can recogonize and say different colors. She loves to point out yellow  school busses on the way to daycare.
- Finally back to sleeping through the night after getting tubes earlier in the month...yea for mom and dad!

Easter!

Happy Easter 2012! Mason was super excited about his Easter basket and all of the candy that was left! He had a great time at Maurice's. Mason and Nolan were two peas in a pod, driving around in the John Deere gator's. The kids played non stop from the moment we got there until we left around 7pm.

(Somehow the pictures got out of order, but I hope you enjoy anyways!)

Poor Kira, teething is so rough on her... two days later she also got another ear infection :(

It wasn't terribly cold out, but both of them are still having ear problems.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

Borzynski's Farm Market hosts a Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and we thought Mason would really enjoy it. Boy were we right! First, they served his favorite breakfast: french toast sticks, eggs, and saugsage. Then, when it was time for the Easter Bunny to come out, he couldn't contain his excitement! He was jumping and spinning around, waiting for the Easter Bunny to come out. Next, there was an egg hunt around the store. Mason found a few eggs, while Kira kept telling the Easter Bunny "bye-bye". She wasn't as excited about the Easter Bunny as Mason. Maybe next year.

Pig Tails :)

She looks so grown up! :)

Wagon Walk

It's been such a warm spring we've been going on a few walks with the wagon. There has been some construction down the street, so Mason suggested we go and check out the construction equipment :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Braydon's Bday party @ Chuck E Cheese!

The kids had a great first time at Chuck E Cheese for Braydon's party! Mason loved all of the games and Kira loved the horse.
