Kira is 10 months now and she is developing quite a personality! Teething has still been pretty rough for her and it's rare if she sleeps through the night without waking up. She's recently given up jar baby food and LOVES to feed herself. Her daycare teachers are very excited that they will not have to wear a sheet to feed her anymore! She'll eat almost anything including vegetables and meat, but the fruits still must have a different texture to her that she doesn't quite know what to do yet. She can also drink out of a cup all by herself!
She's picking up speed crawling and her and Mason are starting to have a lot of fun together. She can stand for a few seconds on her own without holding on to anything, but has not started cruising yet. She loves pushing the walker but hasn't mastered it yet, and gets very upset that she can't figure it out. She can also say "Uh oh", she'll dangle her cup over the side of her highchair and say uh oh, THEN drop her cup :)
She's started putting herself to sleep at night and we've noticed that she loves to hold on to tags or have something in her hand to soothe herself to sleep. I'll have to look into getting her a Taggie blanket!
