Big Brother, Little Sister

I am enjoying the last few days of my maternity leave and trying to get some cute pictures of the best kids ever :)

I'm going to miss them soo much!

Wacky Wednesday

Mason's favorite story to read lately is Wacky Wednesday. He starts laughing uncontrolably at the word wacky :) We're so glad that he still loves to read as much as he does.

Dad, it's time to play lego's!!

Mason's favorite things to build, I mean, Mason's favorite things for Dad to build, are bridges, castle's, garage's, cars and football fields.

This year daycare had a Valentine's dance at the JMBA. Lindsay and I thought it would be perfect for Kira and Parker to attend their first dance together :) They weren't too excited about the dance but Mason had a blast and was dragging me out to the dance floor to dance with him.

Mark is laughing so hard because Kira gave him a nice Valentine's day present while he was holding her :)

Exersaucer Fun

Kira is enjoying a lot more time sitting up in her exersaucer. She loves to watch her big brother race around the living room.

Mason being Mason

Mason was dancing around to some music doing his "shake your booty dance"... being super silly. The camera couldn't keep up with him and neither can Mom and Dad sometimes!

Kira is 4 months old!

In typical fashion, life is going by so fast and our baby girl is 4 months old! She is starting to laugh, reach for objects, takes a pacifier now, and continues to be very aware of her surroundings. She eats every 3 hours and has now started sleeping through the night from roughly 10:30p-8:30a.

Her 4 month check up went very well, she is 24 1/4 inches long, 13 lbs. 14 oz. and her head is 38.7 cm. Her pediatrician was very curious to see what color her eyes are going to be, and so are we! Our guess is that they are going to be a hazel and the doctor thought in the next couple of months they should settle on a color.

At her last check up they were a little concerned with how small her soft spot was, but her head is growing at a normal rate and there were no concerns this time around, yay!

Feb. 2, 2011 Blizzard

We had quite the snow storm over the last few days. Racine recieved 23+ inches of snow! It was quite a scene...

"Mom, take my picture again. I want an M&M." I think he's on to us :)

Go Pack Go!

Yay Packers! They won the Superbowl! Mason and Kira cheered on the Packers at Grandma & Grandpa Holmes' house. I think Mason was far more excited about the football that came in his cupcake though!
