JMBA Halloween Party

I took Mason the JMBA Halloween party and he had a blast! (Kira was a little under the weather, so she stayed home and caught up on some rest.)

Happy 1st Birthday Kira!

Our baby girl is 1!! This year flew by and we enjoyed watching Kira achieve many milestones. She is such a sweetie and likes to give lots of hugs! Her personality is really starting to show and she loves interacting with her big brother.

Fun Facts about Kira:

• She has started telling us what she wants by pointing and she is working on learning sign language at daycare too. She can say "uh-oh", "dada" and waves bye-bye.
• She (still) has 2 teeth!
• Wears size 3 diapers and 12 month clothes (although they are getting small very quickly). She recently started wearing shoes, size 4, but protested greatly in the beginning.
• A few nights a week, she is starting to sleep thru the night again all by herself. Naps are pretty good at home, daycare is a different story. Her usual bedtime is 6:30/7pm. And she is a very light sleeper, like her daddy.
• Her eyes are still a brownish/blue color. We're very curious what they'll do as she gets older.

We had a small get together on her birthday with the grandparents and Kira loved all of the attention and dug right into her cake!! She gave lots of high fives to everyone and laughed after she did it.

Busy Barns

We had a great time at Busy Barns in Fort Atkinson! Mason loved all of the tractors and the hayride to get a pumpkin. Kira enjoyed going down the slide and taking it all in.

It was a neat place with lots to do for the kids, we could have spent all day there!
