The holidays kept us pretty busy, so I haven't posted anything in quite a while. Lots going on including Mason will be a big brother in October! October 11 is our due date, so another October pumpkin :)
Mason had tubes put in on Monday and did really well. He was back to his normal self in a matter of hours. I think the hardest part was for me - as he was yelling "mama, mama!" as the nurses took him into surgery. He had no side effects from anything and we were go-go'ing by the afternoon and he was back at daycare the next day.
He also came to visit me at work on Thursday to let everyone know he was going to be a big brother. He had a great time roaming the halls and "working" at mom's desk :)

Here are some pictures of him the past few months. His favorite things to do are "go-go"- he will bring us our jackets to put on and his and run to the door. On Superbowl Sunday we had to go-go right during the middle of the game - he had already had his bath and pj's on but that wasn't going to stop Mason. He also loves the hello (phone), "dggy's" (doggy's) and he still loves balls. He's also started to say more words and now that he has had the tubes put in we expect his vocabulary to increase even more. It's a really fun age, but also very challenging at times - he is very strong willed and is always keeping us on our toes.
Oh, and we also had our first trip to the Emergency Room a couple weeks ago! (The first of many I'm sure with Mason.) He fell at daycare and hit is head on the doorstop and cut open his forehead. Luckily they were able to use glue instead of stitches! Everything has healed up pretty good now but he'll probably have a scar for awhile.
