A Visit to Santa

Last night we went and saw Santa at the Mall. It pretty much went as expected. Kira was very good and Mason was very excited - so excited that he ran laps around the Santa station while we waited in line. He did sit on Santa's lap for about 30 seconds, long enough to get a picture at least! On his way out to run laps again he did ask Santa for presents for Christmas.

Finally!!

I finally finished Mason's stocking (with the help of my mom putting it all together)! It only took me two years - so Mason better like it :) Now on to Kira's...hopefully she'll have it before she's 10!

Kira is 2 months!

Time is flying by and our baby girl is 2 months old already! She is getting close to sleeping through the night - usually about 6-7 hours.

She is still a really good baby, becoming very aware of her surroundings, smiling and "talking" a lot!

Here are her 2 month stats and some recent pictures:
10 lbs. 13 oz.
22 3/4 inches long

Kira!

Kira is here and so far she's been a great baby! Mason didn't want anything to do with her at first but he's finally starting to come around once he realized she wasn't going anywhere.

Here are some pictures from the last 4 weeks...

Any resemblance?

Mason as a golfer for halloween.

I guess we should have prepped him for blowing out candles and singing "happy birthday"!

This is what baby sisters are for, right?

Green Meadows Petting Farm

On Sunday we met some of my family at the Green Meadows Petting Farm near Waterford for some more fun for Mason and to see my Mom for her birthday. All of the kids had a great time and there were soo many things for them to do!

Mason helping dad push the wheelbarrel out to the pumpkin patch.

Mason was a little reluctant to ride the pony at first but he got on and went around 1 time ~ which is better than we thought he'd do!

Alyssa, Braydon and Mason on the tractor. Once Mason realized there were tractors to ride he didn't have much of an interest in the animals or any of the other activities anymore.

Whee!

The bigger animals still scare Mason a bit, this was as close as he would get to the cow.

We had a great time and would highly recommend it if you're in the area!

The annual McGrath kid's fence picture...they're all getting so big!

Swan's Pumpkin Farm

We wanted to get out and do some fun things with Mason before the new baby comes (hopefully any day now!) so we went to Swan's Pumpkin farm - just north of Racine.

Mason loved "driving" the on the tractor ride...he didn't want to get off the ride!

Too many pumpkins to choose from!

Mason had a great time on the "wagon ride" throughout the farm. I'm surprised this 20+ minute ride didn't send me into labor!
