Mason's first Brewer game!

On Memorial Day we took Mason to his first Brewer's game. We used a baby carrier and to walk him to and from the game and around the stadium. He loved being able to look around at all of the sights and sounds. He looked pretty cute in there, kicking his little legs and smiling at all of the people as they walked by!

Miller Park has really neat Kids Zone area with some fun things for kids to do like racing the sausages, pitching, and running the distance to first base. Mason was too young for a lot of it, but he loved looking around at all of the other people.

The way the game worked out was just perfect for us. It was scoreless and hit less for the first 9 innings. So we walked Mason around the stadium for awhile and didn't miss any of the action. We got back to our seats in the 7th inning and stayed there until the Brewer's won in the 10th inning. Mason did really well. And when the Brewer's won and everyone was clapping Mason got very excited and thought everyone was clapping for him! It was really cute!

Mason did really well at the game and we were glad we took him. He always attracts a lot of attention where ever we go - it must be his sweet smile :-)

Bob & Mary's Anniversary Party

On Saturday night we went to Mark's Aunt and Uncle's 35th Anniversary party. Mason did really well, especially for being at the zoo all day. He just loved to watch all of the other kids as they walked (ran) past his stroller, before we know it, Mason will be out there running along with them!

Here he his with his great-Gram.

Aunt Kim and Mason having fun!

The kids were having a great time dancing...

Milwaukee County Zoo

On Saturday we met some friends from college for a visit to the Zoo. It ened up being a pretty warm and humid day, but all of the kids did really well. Mason even napped for almost an hour in his stroller!

Here are the kids: Brady, Mason and Kole.

Mason's favorite things were the fish and the lions. Probably because they were pretty close up and larger animals for him to see.

(The fish behind Mason was a sheephead fish. Below is a full shot of the strange looking fish.)

This picture almost looks like Mason is petting the lion's tail! We were really surprised he wasn't scared!
We had a great time and can't wait to do it again!

Happy Mother's Day!

This post is a little late, but I thought I would still post it anyways. We had a very laid back Mother's Day, which was nice. I actually took a nap with Mason in the afternoon which was probably the best part of the day! I hope all the moms had a great day!

We tried to get a nice picture of me and Mason outside in front of the pretty tree in our front yard - it was pretty windy and a bit chilly, but he was a good sport!

Mason's first tooth!

Mason got his first tooth a few days ago and it's finally popped through enough to get a picture of it... almost. We're glad it's finally here because the week before was pretty rough. It could have been teething or his cold but there wasn't much eating or sleeping which made for a fussy Mason!

He is back to his happy self!

6 month check up

Mason had his 6 month check up on Monday. He weighed in at a whoping 18 pounds and 14 ounces! And 26 1/4 inches tall. He was great at the doctor's office - talking and smiling to the doctor and squirming all over the place. It's hard to keep that boy still lately!
