More new things for Mason!

On Friday we decided to take Mason to the park near our house to try out the swings. It was SO nice that we just had to get outside even though Mason didn't hardly nap at all during the day. He loved the walk to the park and was looking around and kicking his feet the whole way there!
He absolutely LOVED the swing! It was pretty windy, so we didn't stay too long, but we'll definitely be making some more trips to the park as soon as it is nice again!

Mason is growing so fast, I can't believe pretty soon he'll really be using a cup! He did pretty well with the cup for his first try and actually was able to get some water out of the cup, but most ended up down the front of his shirt :-)

Mason's sitter Rachael has a jumperoo at her house and Mason loves to jump in it, so we had to get one for him to use at home. He studied the toys really hard and examined everything very closely before the jumping started!

Happy Easter!

I hope everyone had a nice Easter! It was a long day for Mason with short naps and lots of people and activities! Mason was a trooper throughout the whole day starting with breakfast at Church and then an Easter celebration at Mark's aunt Peggy and uncle Pete's house. Mason didn't get to hunt for his easter bag this year, but I'm sure he'll be out there next year with all of the big kids!

Although Mason and his second cousin Nolan couldn't join in a lot of the fun, we decided to put some bunny ears on them so they could have their own Easter fun!

The dads thought Mason and Nolan needed some manly tools to go with their bunny ears...

We also took Mason to visit the Easter bunny at the mall earlier in the week. He wasn't scared at all, but he didn't really know what to think. We were able to catch a half smile though.

Swimming

On Saturday we took Mason to the JMBA for his first pool outing. He has really been splashing around in his little bathtub lately so we thought he would enjoy a "big bathtub". He had a lot of fun splashing his arms in the water and moving his little legs like he was trying to go somewhere!

Mason's favorite new thing is to grab faces (and anything he can get his hands on) and squeeze really hard! :-)

There were a couple other kids in the pool too - and I think he was more interested in watching them play!

He even let me put him on his back and floated for a little bit! He's definitely going to enjoy the pool this summer!

All wore out! (For a little while anyways!)

Go Brewers!

Mark went to opening day for the Brewers on Friday so we decided Mason should put on his gear too. We hope to take Mason to a game this year and see how he does, but not until it gets a little warmer!
