5 months old!

Mason is 5 months old today and we can't believe how fast he's growing up! He started rolling over last week and now he loves to do it ALL the time! But he hasn't quite figured out how to roll back to his stomach yet. Here's a couple recent pictures...

Happy St. Patty's Day...let's celebrate with some rice cereal!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! We decided to celebrate with Mason this year by giving him his first taste of cereal. He actually did really well! And ate a majority of the tablespoon that we gave him. It was a neat experience to watch him as he tried to figure out what was going on!

Mason's baptism

On Sunday Mason was baptized at Lutheran Resurrection Church. He was a very good boy throught the service and didn't cry at all...mainly because he had his pacifier in his mouth! We had family and his godparents over to our house afterwards - we couldn't have asked for a better day!

Here's a few pictures from the day and his outfit that my mom made for Mason on his special day.

We found some Celtic knot buttons at the store and couldn't resist putting them on his outfit, especially since it was so close to St. Patrick's day.

4 month check up

Mason had his 4 month check up today and he did really well! He cried a little bit more at the shots this time, but other than that he did great! The doctor said he is definitely teething, but there is no definite time frame on when his teeth will come in.

He is now 25 1/4 inches long and weighs 15 lbs and 14 ounces - quite a big boy! He is in the 50-75 percentile for everything.

Back to work...

Last Monday was my first day back to work. It was a really tough day, but we made it through the week. Mason really seems to like his sitter, Rachel, and her 2 year old son Jackson, so that makes it a little bit easier on me. Plus I get the good end of the deal, picking Mason up everyday!

Mark and Mason sent me some nice flowers to brighten up my first week back! It was a very nice surprise!

I really enjoyed my four months off with Mason and it was really hard to go back to work, but now we look forward to the nights and weekends even more!

Braydon's 1st Birthday

My nephew Braydon turned one on Monday and last weekend Mason and I went to Milton to celebrate. It's hard to believe he's one already, but before I know it, Mason will be hitting that milestone as well!

For Christmas Braydon got a Curious George monkey that he absolutely loves, so he got monkey's galore for his birthday. Even a chocolate monkey cake...in the end he had a chocolate beard with pieces of cake stuck to his face that looked like whiskers!

His big sister Alyssa loves the boys :-)
